Terms of service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms apply when you use prform: the iPhone and Android apps, prform.co and the prform API. By using prform you agree to them. How prform handles your data is covered by the privacy policy.
prform is in beta
Features may change or break, and data could be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important. The API lets you download your training data.
Your account
You need to be at least 16 to use prform. Keep your sign-in secure; you’re responsible for what happens on your account.
Your content
Your workouts, notes, videos and photos are yours. You let prform store and process them only to run the service, for example to sync them between your devices, show workouts to friends you share them with, and give the AI coach context when you use it.
Training and health
prform isn’t medical advice. The AI coach’s suggestions are generated automatically, aren’t reviewed by a person, and can be wrong. Check with a doctor or qualified professional before starting a new program, especially if you have an injury or health condition. Lift within your limits and stop if something hurts. You’re responsible for how you train.
Using prform fairly
Don’t:
- harass, threaten or abuse other people;
- post anything unlawful;
- access other people’s accounts or data;
- try to overload or break the service, or get around its usage limits.
prform can suspend or delete accounts that break these terms. Some features, such as the AI coach, have usage limits. If paid plans are offered, their price and terms will be shown before you pay.
Other services
Apple Health, Health Connect, Strava, and any AI provider you connect have their own terms, which apply when you use them with prform.
Changes and shutting down
prform may change or remove features. If prform shuts down, I’ll give reasonable notice and a way to download your data first. You can stop using prform and delete your account at any time.
Liability
prform is provided as is. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded, including the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, prform isn’t liable for indirect losses, lost data, or injuries from training, and its total liability is limited to what you paid prform in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, I’ll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes I’ll also let you know in the app or by email. Questions go to hello@prform.co.
