Built by one person who uses it every time he trains.

01 / 04Workout logging

Keep track of what you lifted.

Log your sets, reps and weights, with your previous workout there to refer to.

Next: AI coach

02 / 04AI coach

Meet your coach.

Ask for a program and it builds one from the workouts you’ve logged, then checks in on training days. Pick a coach and choose how it looks.

Next: Lift videos

03 / 04Lift videos

See how far you’ve come.

Keep a video with each set. Watch it back after your workout and see how your lifting changes over time.

Why I’m building prform

I’ve been lifting for seven years. When I started tracking my workouts, I started making real progress.

I used Hevy and really liked it. But I wanted more freedom to look through my history, analyse it elsewhere, and move to another app without feeling like I was starting again.

I also wanted to remember what those lifts looked like. The idea of watching a set three years from now and seeing how far I’ve come is a big part of why I built prform.

It’s just me building this, and I use it every session. If you try it, tell me what needs work.

Build something with your training data.

Your workouts are yours. If you want them somewhere else, create an API key and pull them into a spreadsheet, a chart, or whatever you’re building.

prform is open source. You can see how it works, fix something that bugs you, or take the code and make your own version.

A few questions.

Send beta feedback ↗
Will I have to pay to see older workouts?

No. Your full workout history is free to view. Having to pay to look back at my own training was one of the reasons I built prform.

How will you pay for it?

Tracking and your full history stay free. Video storage costs money, so extra storage may cost something later.

What does the AI coach do?

It’s optional. It can build you a program from the workouts you’ve logged, react to your workouts and PRs, and move your days when your week changes. It doesn’t see your clips or check your form, and chat has a usage limit.

Can I bring my existing workouts?

Yes. prform imports exports from Hevy, Strong, Fitbod, JEFIT, FitNotes, Stronglifts, Liftosaur and Alpha Progression. Try it with sample workouts in the demo above.

Can I use my data outside prform?

Yes. Create an API key in the web dashboard and pull your workouts into your own tools. The API docs list the endpoints.

How do I install the beta?

On iPhone, open the beta link and follow the steps to install TestFlight and join. On Android, join the beta group, then install prform from the Google Play link in its description.

Who’s building it?

Just me, with feedback from friends who train and people trying the beta. If something feels awkward or you think something’s missing, I’d like to hear about it.
